Neighbourhood Timebanks

  • Neighbourhood Timebanks are based within a defined geographical area and are community-led. We work alongside residents, groups, service providers and other key stakeholders to support setting up new
  • Neighbourhood Time Banks.
  • Together we will map the community to identify who wants to get involved and identify who is missing.
  • We will help promote Timebanking principles and benefits within neighbourhoods.
  • We will help make links with local partners to secure in-kind support such as a walk-in venue and use of IT equipment.
  • We will help recruit, train and support Volunteer Brokers.
  • We will help organise Timebanking activities and events that bring people together
  • We will provide ongoing support

We currently support seven neighbourhood Timebanks in Plymouth and one in Penzance Cornwall.
