Service Providers
Timebanking is a mechanism that strengthens communities and raises social capital through co-production. Co-production happens when people are partners in the delivery of services they benefit from and when they are active as opposed to being passive recipients in achieving their own well-being.
Co-production is a new way of delivering services when recipients of services are also participants, who, are actively engaged and directly involved in the process of achieving outcomes. The participant becomes a joint owner or partner of the process and empowered to co-deliver and ‘co-produce.’
Everyone is valued and the more people and groups who get involved the more skills and resources can be shared.
