Noel’s professional background includes working as a heating engineer, with his initial trade and apprenticeship in the motor industry. This aligns perfectly with his passion for cars—he actively participates in MG Motor Club activities. Beyond his love for automobiles, Noel enjoys various aspects of DIY and is an avid reader.

Noel became a member of Timebank in May 2023, when a new Timebank group was launched in Plymstock as part of the Age Positive Project. Being relatively new to the area and keen to help others, he saw this as the perfect opportunity for him and his wife Kate to get involved and meet new people.

Noel went on to become a Volunteer Buddy – supporting new members and spreading the word at events. And more recently, has become a Trustee where he contributes his skills & expertise as well as playing a fundamental role in the strategic development of Timebank South West.
